Fear stops us from starting, causes us to stop, to give up. Imagine all that is missed because of fear. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. So what stops us? Time, circumstance and people can intimidate and scare us.
It is easy to think about and want to do, but actually being brave is something else altogether. However, being brave is easier said than done. Do not be afraid do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.
All one has to do is take a step forward and be brave.
It brings out an inner child that sees all the wonder and possibility that life has to offer. One that spells excitement and a yearning for adventure.
